I was given my first SLR Practika MTL3 at 12 years of age. I never lost my love of photography and after 15 years of working all over UK and Europe producing large format print and one serious heart attack later, I changed my career and  continued what had been a paying hobby into a full time career.

Within my years I have worked freelance for Regional press in Nottingham extensively covering sport, news, events etc.

PR shoots for many high streets and blue chip brands, such as John Lewis, Argos, Lewins, Mamas and Papas, Asda, National Lottery etc.

The majority of my work as been within the music industry, for whom I have covered hundreds of bands, including Rolling Stones, Oasis, Amy Whinehouse, Lionel Richie, Elton John, Lady Ga Ga etc. My work was produced for record companies, PR companies for tour work, Album covers, tour guide publication , Music magazines, artists and manufacturers of music equipment like Marshall amps, Gibson guitars etc.

I have been published on multiple occasions within every UK national paper and almost every music publication,  often in European and US variations of the magazines.

I have two pet hates within photographer, wedding photographers and paparazzi. Wedding photographers because I believe they have taken the easiest route to make a living with a camera and there is a lack of challenge produces images of the same subject matter constantly. Paparazzi because they intrude on peoples lives without respect or empathy. I have the same lack of respect for the celebrities and use these people for their own promotion. The highlights of my career have been touring with AC/DC, Stage shoot of the Rolling Stones and watching a member of the public viewing my first music magazine shoot in WH Smiths (sad but true)...My lowest point having to stop shooting professionally as the quick deteriation of my eye sight due to the dementia I now suffer from....
