Jorg Colbergborn in 1968 in Germany and now resides in USA. The founder is the founder and editor of "Conscientious". A blog relating to contemporary fine art photography.
Of all the photographers I have researched to date, this one is unique. He works in a way I am familiar with and can easily relate to. When he does any shoot, he takes anything he sees and files it away. He is not shooting for a particular project but because the image is there to be taken. Years later he may choose to use that image as part of his own project.
I work in a similar way but cannot use this skill in this course as I believe it is termed "self Plaguerism" which is sad as I would celebrate this photographer and the way of working.
JM Colberg also states, it is not the photograph, but for use of a better term, the vibe he gets from the image. This I also relate to, as I feel the magic of a shot the second I have taken it -only every now and again - something has happened and you fall in love with the image.
it does not matter what the image is. To me a photographer is someone who gets pleasure out of shooting everytihng and the analysis afterwards.
